Fall Trail Runs/Walk and Caribou Cross OCT10&17th Information

Come join us on October 10th and 17th for some running, walking and cycling. Online registration closes soon but you’re welcome to register before each event as well. Short of being covered in snow, it doesn’t get much more beautiful out!

Caribou Trail Run October 10th

Race Start:

Join the Pocatello Cross Country Ski Foundation for their annual fall fun runs. This 4.5 mile course follows the Nordic ski course through Aspen groves and high meadows and feels somewhat like a good old fashioned cross country course. The race follows the Potato Cup Race Loop plus the Upper Canyon ski trail – lots of ups and downs on the rolling course with one major climb.

Walkers – 9:30AM/ Runners – 10AM

Caribou Cross October 10th

Please arrive about 30 minutes early so you can pickup your bib, warm up, and get to the start line.

Race around the East Mink Creek Nordic Center for 45/55 minutes challenging yourself in the beautiful fall foliage of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. Riders will complete as many laps as they can within the allotted time, with each lap consisting of a 1.8 mile course with a punchy 150 ft of elevation. The first one across the line will receive a coveted prize! Folks of all skills and ages are welcome to come out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather!

Choose A or B Division.

B Division will start at 12:30PM and race for 45 minutes.
A Division will start at 1:30PM and race for 55 minutes.
Podiums at 3:00PM.

Highbasin 10K Run/walk October 17th

Join the Pocatello Cross Country Ski Foundation for their annual fall fun runs. This 6 mile course will take you to the north side of the ski area into the upper trails and finishes on the snowshoe trail with some pretty exciting single track.

Time: 9:30AM – walkers, 10AM – runners
